Terms of Service

• "Service" means the FLOTIME application, the FLOAT web store (floatainment.com) and everything ancillary to them that we provide.
• "Account" (your SENSRA account) means the single account you create with your email address, used for both FLOTIME and the FLOAT web store.
• "You" or "user" means anyone who accepts these Terms and uses the Service.
• "Content" means anything you post or send: photos, captions, tags, places, book notes, trace notes, messages and product reviews.

We publish these Terms on the Service’s opening screen or a screen linked from it, so you can read them at any time.

We may amend these Terms within the limits of applicable law. We state the effective date and the reason, and announce changes at least 7 days beforehand — at least 30 days where the change is adverse to users, with individual in-app notice.

If you do not object before the effective date, you are deemed to accept. If you disagree you may delete your account and stop using the Service at any time.

The contract is formed when you accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy and we accept your registration. Sign-in is passwordless: we email you a one-time code.

🔴 There is one account. The same account gives you both the FLOTIME app and the FLOAT web store, and an account created on one side signs you straight in on the other. FLOTIME cannot be used without signing in. You may browse and order on the FLOAT web store without signing in, but writing reviews, using coupons and viewing your order history require sign-in.

Your account is personal. You may not transfer, lend or sell it. You are responsible for keeping your email account secure — if it is compromised, so is your account — and you must tell us immediately if you suspect misuse.

Usernames that impersonate others, imitate the Company or its brands, or offend public decency may not be used, and we may require a change or reclaim them.

FLOTIME is for users aged 14 and over. We collect your date of birth at sign-up and block registration below 14.

Where local law sets a higher age, that age applies: 16 in the EEA, 13 in the United States. Where a minor buys from the FLOAT web store without the consent of a legal guardian, the minor or the guardian may cancel the purchase.

You must give your true date of birth; accounts created with a false date may be deleted.

You may delete your account at any time — in the FLOTIME app: Settings → Delete account, or on the FLOAT website: My Page → Delete account.

🔴 Deleting the account removes both FLOTIME and the FLOAT web store. It is one account, so there is no way to delete one and keep the other. There is a 7-day grace period during which you can sign in and cancel. After it, your account and Content are permanently erased and cannot be recovered.

If you cannot use the app: https://floatainment.com/flotime/delete-account or email cs@floatainment.com. What is erased and what the law requires us to keep is set out in the table in Section 6 of the Privacy Policy, and the statutory retention periods are in Section 7.

Deleting the app does not delete your account. And order and payment records remain for a period after deletion under Korean e-commerce law — that is a statutory obligation we cannot waive.

You must not:

We operate a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive users. Content in breach may be removed without warning and accounts permanently terminated immediately.

• You are solely responsible for what you post.
• You warrant that you hold all rights necessary to post it.
• You must not copy, redistribute or commercially exploit other users’ Content without permission.
• Anything you make public can be screenshotted or copied by other users. We cannot fully prevent this — please take it into account before posting.

You keep the copyright in your Content. We do not take ownership. This applies equally to the cards, book notes and trace notes you post in FLOTIME and to the product reviews you write on the FLOAT web store.

To run the Service we need permission to store and display what you post. You therefore grant us a licence that is:

• Ending the licence — the licence ends when you delete the Content or your account, and we delete it. Exceptions: copies other users already saved to their own devices; copies in backups erased on their normal rotation; records we must retain by law; and published product reviews, which remain for the benefit of other shoppers (Privacy Policy, Section 6).
• Visibility — the licence never exceeds the visibility you chose (Public / Friends / Private). Product reviews are public by nature.

What this licence does NOT allow us to do: sell or license your Content to third parties; use your Content in advertising; provide or sell your Content to third parties as AI training data. Anything beyond the above — we would ask you separately, each time.

The Service itself, our designs, images, copy, software, and the marks FLOAT, SENSRA and FLOTIME belong to the Company. You may not copy, distribute, transmit, publish, adapt or commercially exploit them without our prior written consent.

Region guides, place information, trends, categories and product descriptions are supplied by us or our partners. We work to keep them accurate but do not warrant completeness or currency, and we are not responsible for decisions you make in reliance on them. This does not affect our statutory liability as a seller for the labelling and advertising of goods.

If you believe another user’s Content, account, message or review breaches Section 6, report it from within the app: [⋯] on the card, profile or message → Report.

There are six reasons: ① abuse, hate or harassment ② sexual content ③ spam, advertising or fraud ④ harm to or solicitation of minors ⑤ impersonation ⑥ other.

We aim to review reports within 24 hours and act as needed. You may also block a user (you become invisible to each other) or mute them (their content is hidden).

False or abusive reporting is itself a breach of Section 6 and is subject to enforcement.

Where we confirm a breach of Section 6 we may take the following measures, weighing the nature, seriousness and repetition of the breach. Enforcement applies to the account, so it takes effect on both FLOTIME and the FLOAT web store.

• We tell you the reason and duration of any restriction. A restriction does not stop us performing orders you have already placed — delivery and refunds proceed as normal.
• We may report clear illegality to the authorities and cooperate with an investigation.

We may go straight to permanent termination for: sexual content involving or solicitation of minors; credible threats to life or physical safety; repeated evasion of restrictions via new accounts.

If you are restricted, or your Content is removed or hidden, you can appeal: Settings → Support → Appeal.

The appeal channel stays open while you are restricted — a restricted account can still reach this screen.

We re-examine the basis for the decision and reply with either Overturned (the action is reversed, restrictions lifted, and removed Content restored where possible) or Upheld (the action stands, with an explanation). We respond within a reasonable period. If you disagree, you may use the dispute options in Section 15.

The Service is normally available 24/7.

We may suspend all or part of it for maintenance, force majeure such as power or network failure or natural disaster, traffic overload, or failures in third-party services we rely on (cloud, hosting, payments, maps, email, push). We announce planned interruptions in advance; unforeseeable or uncontrollable ones as soon as possible afterwards.

We may change the Service’s features; changes with a material adverse effect on users are announced 30 days in advance. If we discontinue the Service entirely, we will give at least 30 days’ notice and tell you how to download your Content.

The FLOTIME app is currently free. If we introduce paid features we will announce them and obtain separate consent; we will not retroactively charge for features that were free. Mobile data charges are yours.

🔴 Ordering, payment, delivery, exchange, return and withdrawal of purchase are governed by the FLOAT web store Policies page (floatainment.com/policies). Where these Terms and that page differ, that page prevails on e-commerce matters.

We are not responsible for:

• Content posted by users and disputes arising from it — we do not pre-screen Content; we act on reports.
• Disputes between users, or decisions you make relying on information in the Service.
• Force majeure, and failures of third-party services (cloud, hosting, payments, maps, email, push, device vendors).
• Loss caused by your own fault — poor device security, a compromised email account, or abnormal use.

Nothing in this clause limits liability that cannot be excluded by law — including wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury, liability for defects in the goods we sell, and rights granted to consumers by mandatory consumer protection law.

These Terms and your use of the Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.

Consumer protection — if you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of habitual residence, and consumers in the EU, UK and similar jurisdictions retain the right to bring proceedings in their local courts.

Please first contact us at cs@floatainment.com so we can try to resolve the matter amicably. Otherwise, claims are brought before the courts having jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.

Korean users may also seek mediation from the Korea Consumer Agency Consumer Dispute Settlement Commission (www.kca.go.kr, 1372), the Personal Information Dispute Mediation Committee (www.kopico.go.kr, 1833-6972) or the Content Dispute Resolution Committee (www.kcdrc.kr).

We notify you by your registered email address or by in-app and on-site notices. General notices may be posted in the app or on the site for 7 days or more; matters with a material effect on you are notified individually.

If any provision is held invalid under applicable law, the rest remains in force.
